Aston Martin Ulster
This 1934 Aston Martin Ulster came to the workshop for a series of modifications to improve comfort and usability for its new owner who found getting in and out of the compact pre-war cockpit a real challenge.
The original dashboard and instruments were carefully removed and stored. In their place, a new slim-line dashboard was fabricated and fitted; designed to accommodate smaller, period-correct gauges that retained the car’s authentic look while creating valuable extra space in the driving position.
To further enhance accessibility, a removable steering wheel boss was developed in collaboration with a local specialist. Using 3D printing technology, the team produced a custom-fit solution that allows the steering wheel to be detached, making entry and exit far more comfortable without compromising the vehicle’s vintage character.
